Stress and Anxiety Hypnosis Research
Hypnosis Reduces Stress in Group Settings
This is a small but interesting study. Compared to a control group who received a pamphlet on stress management, the hypnosis group showed much more stress reduction between 5-12 weeks. The steps of the study included: physical relaxation and mental reassurance, hypnotic dissocation from the stress situation and activation of a resourceful place to go in the mind, continued practice of finding the “happy place” and speeding up the process, learning how to use this skill in more and more stressful situations, etc.
Wouldn’t you like to be able to do this? How will your life improve?

Hypnosis Can Reduce Anxiety for Cancer Patients
Wow, this work is so important! Done effectively, hypnosis can reduce feelings of anxiety for people who are going through a very serious experience in their lives. This study found that hypnosis delivered by a qualified professional was more effective than self-hypnosis, especially for children who were in the process of getting treated for cancer. My hope of course is that all of you stay healthy, but life happens. Imagine having hypnotic skills available to you during very serious and scary times. Think about how you could be there for your loved ones if during some of the worst moments in their lives you can be present, calm, and available.

Hypnosis Reduces Anxiety as Effectively as Other Protocols
There are many wonderful and clinically proven brief intervention programs available to assist with the reduction of anxiety. Hypnosis both as a standalone product (with self-hypnosis traning) and a complement to other therapies, is as effective. I can teach you how to utilize your hypnotic genius both during out sessions and when you are alone so that you get exactly the reduction of anxiety that you want.
